The Indianapolis Colts made a shocking roster move on Thursday by moving on from a two-year starter. The team announced they have released kicker Matt Gay, who had been with the team since 2023. Colts released kicker Matt Gay The Colts signed Matt Gay to the largest free agency contract for a kicker in NFL history ahead of the 2023 season, giving him a four-year $22.5 million contract. He connected on over 93% of his field goal attempts in both of the previous two seasons with the Los Angeles Rams.
