Natick's Jack Doucette was voted the Daily News Baseball Player of the Week for action from April 28-May 4. He had three RBIs on a 2-for-4 day on April 28, as the Redhawks beat Milton in nine innings. Doucette garnered 42.76 percent of the more than 55,000 votes. Lincoln-Sudbury's Connor Hammond placed second (29.86 percent).

These high school athletes shined from May 9-11:Emerson Acquaviva, She scored five goals including the game winner in the final minute of a 12-11 win over Hingham on Saturday. Lydia Mossi made six saves for the Warriors (8-4). L-S' Ella Ryan had seven draw controls and three assists.
