In an ideal world, the Golden State Warriors would have clawed their way into one of the Western Conference's top six teams and avoided the play-in tournament completely. They weren't able to do that but accomplished the next-best thing by surviving the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night at home, ensuring that they'll get a best-of-seven series against the Houston Rockets. After the final whistle, Steph Curry assessed his feelings.

The Golden State Warriors worked for months to avoid the NBA's Play-In Tournament in order to rest a veteran roster but weren't able to do so. The Orlando Magic dismantled the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night to secure a best-of-seven playoff series against the Boston Celtics. There's not a lot of widespread belief in the Magic pulling off a stunning upset but at least they'll have an honest shot at advancing deep into the postseason instead of sliding out of the picture completely. So the home crowd was fired-up after it became clear Orlando would advance as there was nothing to do but savor the stress-free final moments.
