As LSU baseball entered Sunday's game against Arkansas, the Tigers had already won the series and were looking for the sweep. Arkansas took the lead in the top of the third inning and never looked back as they won this one 7-4. LSU has used the long ball to control this series in games one and two. The start of game three was no different as the Tigers hit two solo shots in the bottom of the second inning to take the lead 2-0. Luis Hernandez and Stephen Milam were the two Tigers who hit the homers.

After LSU baseball won game one at 12:17 AM, the Tigers looked to take the series with a game two win on Saturday. Jake Brown had a two-homer day to lead the Tigers to a 13-3 win. LSU wasted no time getting in front as Brown hit a three-run bomb in the bottom of the first to give LSU a 3-0 lead over Arkansas. Anthony Eyanson got the start on the mound for LSU, and he was slow-roasting the Hogs all game long.

LSU baseball entered Sunday with a chance to win the series at Texas A&M after Anthony Eyanson's stellar performance on Saturday night, but a late homer doomed the Tigers to a 6-4 loss. Casan Evans made his second straight Sunday start. Unlike the previous two games, LSU was able to get on the board first. In the top of the fourth inning, Luis Hernandez hit an RBI double and Steven Milam hit an RBI single to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.

After a disappointing loss in game one, LSU baseball needed a bounce-back to even the series in game two. It did just that as Anthony Eyanson pitched a complete game to lead the Tigers to a 2-1 win. Tigers' head coach Jay Johnson made some major lineup changes as Jared Jones was moved to the leadoff spot and John Pearson got his first start of the year as the designated hitter. This game started just like game one. Neither team could string together hits, so we were tied 0-0 for multiple innings.

After not being able to play on Friday due to a downpour, LSU baseball and Texas A&M finally got underway in game one of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon with Kade Anderson on the mound for the Tigers. LSU couldn't get the job done as the Aggies took game one 3-1. This game shaped up like most Anderson starts for LSU. It became a pitcher's duel, and it felt like the first team to score two runs would be able to win game one.
