PEORIA, Ariz. — Residents in a north Peoria neighborhood say their once-quiet streets have turned into a nightly stomping ground for an unusual group of trespassers: cows. Homeowners in the Northlands neighborhood have been dealing with a growing problem of cattle wandering through yards, damaging sprinkler systems, eating plants and leaving behind cow pies. Some neighbors have even captured the nightly visits on their doorbell cameras.

MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. — Two experienced pilots walked away uninjured Friday after making an emergency landing in a field near 91st Avenue and Baseline Road when their small aircraft experienced engine problems during a routine flight. Pilot Jim Stark and passenger Pete Biddle, both Sun City residents, were returning to Goodyear after having breakfast in Chandler when Stark's Cessna 172 began losing power near Gila Crossing around noon.
