    MESA, Ariz. — An 11-year-old dog in Mesa nearly lost his life after he was attacked by a coyote. Angela Marino said her dog Luigi was let out to use the bathroom by her brother around 4:30 in the morning last week. She said her brother was still outside when the attack happened. Within seconds, Marino said she could hear Luigi yipping for help. When she walked out, she could see her beloved dog in the coyote's mouth.

    CHANDLER, Ariz. — A three-year-old boy is in critical condition at a Valley hospital after being pulled out of a backyard pool, according to the Chandler Fire Department. CFD told 12News that crews were called to a home on the 5000 block of East Elmwood Place, which is just south of the intersection of Chandler Heights and Gilbert roads. The department said Chandler police officers got to the home first and found a three-year-old who was unconscious after being pulled out of a backyard pool.
