I woke up to my windows crying again this morning. It happens almost every day at this time of year. I live in a 1940s-built, timber bungalow. It has insulation in the ceiling, and some in the walls, but we're not sure what's happening under the house – and frankly, we're too scared to check. While house-hunting in January poses a few challenges, it’s still possible to find and buy your dream home – in fact, it might even be the time to find a bargain.
