In their paper, the authors reported the impact of letermovir prophylaxis on cytomegalovirus (CMV) reactivation and resistance in both adult and paediatric patients who underwent umbilical cord blood transplantation (UCBT).1 They observed a significantly lower cumulative incidence of CMV reactivation at 180 days in those patients receiving letermovir compared to the historical control group.

We discuss different pre-infusion, post-infusion and post-CAR T-cell relapse prognostic factors influencing the outcomes of anti-CD19 CAR T-cell therapy in patients with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphomas. Despite the overall positive results of anti-CD19 CAR T-cell therapy, a significant percentage of patients relapse. We summarize the efforts made to identify predictive factors for response and durable remissions and survival.

Purpose: Current diagnostic methods for endometrial cancer lack specificity, leading to many women undergoing invasive procedures. The aim of this study was to evaluate somatic mutations in urine to accurately discriminate endometrial cancer patients from controls. Experimental Design: Overall, 72 samples were analyzed using next-generation sequencing with molecular identifiers targeting 47 genes.
