Donald Trump says he will raise billions of dollars by taxing foreign countries through the use of tariffs. First of all, foreign countries do not pay taxes to the United States. Tariffs are fees imposed on products coming into the United States. Those fees are paid by the manufacturer of those products. The manufacturer then adds those fees to the cost of their products which are then paid for by U.S. citizens when they purchase those products.

Trump keeps trying to scare people in regards to immigrants when he constantly repeats his lies about them all being criminals, violent gang members and people from mental institutions. They are simply people coming from countries all over the world wanting a better life for themselves and their families. We should take this as a compliment to the United States that these immigrants see it as a land of opportunity. You do not see people lined up wanting to get into Russia, China or North Korea.

J.D. Vance has been making comments about Walz serving in the U.S. military, but has neglected to say anything about Trump’s military service. Oh wait. Trump had his daddy pay a doctor to write a false medical report to keep him out of the military. Trump refers to military personnel that were killed or prisoners of war while defending the United States as losers and suckers.

Trump has referred to immigrants as less than human and says they are poisoning our culture. These are the same words Hitler and Goebbels used to justify the killing of millions of Jewish and Polish people. Trump has repeatedly referred to Mexican immigrants as rapists and killers. The truth is that illegal immigrants have the lowest crime rate in the United States and legal immigrants are the next lowest. The highest crime rate by far is natural born U.S. citizens.

Let's get real about the drug problem in the United States. It's not caused by the Mexican drug cartels. They are not forcing anyone here to take the drugs. We are the cause. It's simply a matter of supply and demand. As long as people in the United States are demanding these drugs and will pay whatever it takes to get them, there will always be someone somewhere to supply them, be it from Mexico, Columbia or some other country. We are responsible for the creation of the drug cartels.
