That first one was incredible, and I learned so much and, looking back, I can see significant healing and progress that has taken place since then. It was also painfully hard. I grieved so much over the pain my children experienced throughout their lives and how inadequate I felt, knowing I couldn’t fix it but desperately wishing I could and believing I should.
