    Remco Evenepoel (Soudal-QuickStep) beat compatriot Wout van Aert (Visma-Lease a Bike) to win De Brabantse Pijl in his first race after a winter spent recovering from injury. António Morgado (UAE Team Emirates) led the peloton to the line for third place 27 seconds behind the duo. Evenepoel and Van Aert attacked on the Hertstraat, the first of three climbs on the 19.8km circuits with 55km to go, and used the Moskesstraat and Holstheide to build on their lead.

    It's been two weeks since our last relegation watch, and the team to watch is once again XDS Astana, who shrugged off a bit of a March slump and put themselves back on track for remaining in the WorldTour. The team came into the season in a dismal 21st place in the 2023-2025 UCI Team Rankings. The promotion/relegation system determines which teams meet the sporting criteria of being in the top 18 to earn a WorldTour licence for the next cycle from 2026-2028.

    Following an incident during the 2025 Paris-Roubaix in which Mathieu van der Poel was struck in the face by a full bidon thrown by a roadside spectator, the UCI and Van der Poel's Alpecin-Deceuninck team have issued statements saying they will pursue punishment for the man. Van der Poel was riding solo en route to victory over sector 8, Templeuve - Moulin-de-Vertain, with 33km to go when the spectator tossed a Visma-Lease a Bike bidon into his path, striking him with a glancing blow in the face.
