In 2012, with a newborn baby strapped to my chest, I stood in a field and gave advice and directions to people attending Chagstock festival. This was my first experience of the small music festival held just five miles from home, where my friend Simon Ford was king and the majority of the people working there came from our little Dartmoor town of Chagford. Chagstock started before my time, but stories say it began as Simon hosting a party in his field for his friends.

Kingsbridge Kingfishers Swimming Club – Volunteer-run, helping young athletes reach competition level, granted £1,500. Holsworthy Church Bell Restoration Project – Preserving one of Devon's historic bell peals, awarded £1,500. Radio Plymouth – Providing DAB radio services to hospital patients for over 60 years, received £1,500.
