    NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - People headed to Maceroni Funeral Home in North Providence Sunday to pay their respects to the late Senate President Dominick Ruggerio, who died on Monday. Ruggerio, 76, died after a lengthy battle with cancer and other ailments. He served in the Senate since 1985 and as senate president since 2017.
