A woman is behind bars after police said she sent mail laced with narcotics to inmates at several New York State prisons. The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) said the arrest on April 29 comes just a day before three nurses at Upstate Correctional Facility in Malone were hospitalized after they reported feeling lightheaded and dizzy while doing rounds at the prison. Those nurses were taken to an area hospital for treatment but released the same day.
