Three teams ended the 2025 season by winning its first ever state championship. Another made a triumphant return to a Group final it last played in six years ago. Allentown can call itself a state champion for the first time. The top-seeded Redbirds, ranked No. 5 in the NJ.com Top 20, held off second-seeded Sparta 6-5 to win their first NJSIAA Group 2 Tournament crown at Seneca High School. With the game tied 5-5, Marleigh White scored on a free position with 3:05 remaining and Allentown held off Sparta’s charge to hold on for the win. Please check back, this story will be updated.
