For the third straight year, Omaha softball is the Summit League tournament champions. After a run-rule loss in the first game of the double-elimination championship, the Mavericks rallied to beat South Dakota 4-2 and secure a spot in the NCAA softball tournament. Omaha earns the league's automatic qualifier for the third straight season.
