    In 1978, Curtis Stutzman, a former Iowa FFA state president and Mid-Prairie FFA Alumnus, traveled internationally to the British Isles and Europe for the first time — a trip he says dramatically changed the course of his life. Stutzman’s passion for immersive experiences grew from there.

    As a sophomore in high school, my sights were set on becoming the next Mexico FFA Chapter secretary. I poured into the application process and left my interview feeling confident. So, imagine my surprise when I opened a text message reading, “Congratulations! You’ve been selected as our chapter’s newest reporter.”At the time, receiving this news represented a goal unreached and a dream that didn’t come to fruition. Today, however, I’m grateful for the redirection it provided.

She created an Instagram account and Facebook page called “The Whole Farmer” after attending the Washington Leadership Conference.
