I’m pretty sure I speak for most deathcore fans when I say that there’s a certain plague that surrounds Slaughter to Prevail’s lead vocalist, Alex Terrible. Homophobia, transphobia, fascism, you know, the list goes on. So it’s not all that hard to believe that he isn’t the most loved musician in the world. 24 hours ago, Slaughter to Prevail announced their The Grizzly Winter Tour, which kicks off next year, and this time with support acts.

It’s mixing week for Californian thrash metalheads, Testament!In a new interview with Land Of Music Podcast, Testament guitarist Erik Peterson has confirmed that the band are closing in on the finer details of their forthcoming full-length and that they’re mixing it this week with Swedish producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Paradise Lost, Amon Amarth). Usually, I’m not all that fussed when a band puts out a live album, but Powerwolf isn’t your average metal group. Today, the band has shared that they’re set to release a new album next year, titled Wildlive (Live at Olympiahalle). Wildlive (Live at Olympiahall) is set to capture Powerwolf at their rawest. As a live album, the record will reflect the band’s shows throughout the years. It’s set to be a cinematic experience, celebrating everything the band has culminated since 2004.

Oh dear. A band has launched a Kickstarter to help fund the release of their new album. What could go wrong there? Well, apparently a lot. A few days ago, Archsipre announced a crowdfunding campaign, and in literally 12 hours, they hit their goal (awesome, right). Well, clearly not. Because, in a turn of events, fans don’t seem too pleased about the whole thing.
