It is crucial to keep in mind that clinical trial evaluations are an intricate topic and that this article barely scratches the surface. There is much more to learn about good practice in RCT analyses; a more in-depth and “hands-on” look at trial evaluations is provided in the tutorial in the supplement. Furthermore, many problems of RCTs arise at the design stage, well before the actual analysis.
