T cells are one of the main drivers of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Infliximab (IFX) is used in the treatment of IBD as an anti-inflammatory drug to induce remission by neutralizing TNFα. We determined the individual chemokine/homing receptor and cytokine profile in pediatric IBD patients before and during IFX therapy to identify predictive biomarkers for therapy success.

We hypothesized that there are differences regarding the in vivo elastic properties between the three tendons commonly used for ACLR and that they are influenced by several patient related factors. The hypotheses of our study were confirmed; the results of the current study revealed significant differences of the QT, PT and ST in terms of tissue elasticity measured by SWE. The most influencing factor on tendon elasticity was the physical activity level of the subjects.
