MONTEZUMA, Ga. (WGXA) — A 62-year-old man died after he was hit by a vehicle on Wednesday, according to Macon County Coroner Eddie Hosley. Hosley says the Montezuma Police Department and the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) of Perry responded to reports of a pedestrian struck on Highway 26 in Montezuma. An incident report from GSP revealed that around 1:31 a.m., a driver was traveling east on Highway 26 in a Chevrolet Silverado.

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — Search and rescue teams spent Monday evening looking for a 26-year-old who went missing on Lake Sinclair. According to Baldwin County Sheriff's Chief Deputy of Field Operations, Scott Deason, Chester Upton IV, 26, was boating on the lake Sunday around 7:15 pm when he did not return to Anchors Marina, formerly the Bass Boat House.

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — A woman convicted of filing and selling fraudulent deeds, that victimized multiple Macon property owners, was sentenced on Thursday. According to the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office, Angela Jessie Spradley will serve five years in prison followed by 25 years of probation for "orchestrating an elaborate deed fraud scheme."Investigators say that between September and December 2021 Spradley filed fraudulent deeds for five properties in Bibb County.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (WGXA) — A driver fled the scene after hitting a Feagin Mill Middle School student on his bike ride to school Tuesday morning, per Houston County Sheriff's Office (HCSO). According to an incident report, around 8:20 a.m. two students were riding their bikes to school when they began to cross the street at Haverhill Lane and Feagin Mill Road. As they attempted to cross, a driver of a white car struck one of them and sped off.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (WGXA) — Three people, including a 14-year-old, were arrested for striking a car repossession operator and an altercation with Warner Robins Police officers. On Tuesday at 8:35 p.m. officers responded to a customer dispute at Starbucks on 2726 Watson Blvd. Warner Robins Police say witnesses inside the Starbucks saw a car repossession (repo) operator attempting to negotiate with the driver of a vehicle with an active repo order.
