MONTEZUMA, Ga. (WGXA) — A 62-year-old man died after he was hit by a vehicle on Wednesday, according to Macon County Coroner Eddie Hosley. Hosley says the Montezuma Police Department and the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) of Perry responded to reports of a pedestrian struck on Highway 26 in Montezuma. An incident report from GSP revealed that around 1:31 a.m., a driver was traveling east on Highway 26 in a Chevrolet Silverado.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A man was arrested for stabbing two women Thursday evening. According to Warner Robins Police, it happened at a home on Leisure Lake Drive. A 24-year-old woman had stab wounds and was taken to the hospital, while a 50-year-old woman was treated on the scene for slash wounds. The suspect, a 26-year-old man, was arrested near the scene shortly after officers arrived.

MACON, Ga. — A 17-year-old was shot in Macon. According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, it happened just before 10 p.m. Friday on Denton Street, on Macon's east side. They say the teenage boy had non life-threatening injuries. Authorities say they're investigating what led to the shooting.

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for the person responsible for a Tuesday afternoon assault. It happened just after 4:00 pm at a park near Orange and High Street. According to a press release, the victim was sitting in the park when he was hit in the head. The victim was hit while wearing a hood over his head and was unable to see his attacker. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.
