Go forth and conquer. The Seattle Seahawks' 2025 schedule is out. The team begins against an NFC West rival, the San Francisco 49ers, and has several tough games through the end. Thankfully, Seattle faces the NFC South and the AFC South this coming season. A lot of those teams won't be good. One team that is expected to be, though, is the Washington Commanders. Thanks to Seattle finishing second in the NFC West last season, the Seahawks will face a second-place schedule.

What you need to know. We are inching closer to the Seattle Seahawks' new season. It will feel like a summer away because, well...it is. Maybe these months will fly by, but if you are a football fan, you know these can be the longest months. At least, we now know when Seattle is taking on all the teams we already knew the Seahawks were playing. There was no drama there. The 2025 opponents were known as soon as the 2024 regular season ended.

Two to note. The Seattle Seahawks played the Los Angeles Rams to a tie in 2024. Both teams went 10-7, and those were the best records in the NFC West. The unfortunate bit was that the Rams held all the tie-breakers and got into the postseason, while all Seattle could do was go on vacation. One of the key Rams is now with the Seahawks, though. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp was released this offseason and signed with his home-state team.

Meaningless no more. Every NFL preseason game is ultimately meaningless. Who wins and who loses does not matter in real standings. The contests are used more to determine which players will make up the bottom of the roster. The Starters don't play much. All that said, the Seattle Seahawks' 2025 preseason openers just got a lot more meaningful. The Seahawks do not play the Las Vegas Raiders in the regular season until 2026, when Seattle will play the teams from the AFC West.

Your favorite place to watch things had inked a deal with the NFL to show games for at least three years. The contract might have been a prove-it one for Netflix. The streamer was just beginning to break into major live events, and few things are bigger than NFL games (World Cup soccer is likely bigger, of course).
