How many quarterbacks do you think are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame? The answer is 29, although it is really 28. George Blanda, classified as a quarterback, is in the HOF for other reasons. So, 28 QBs in a little under 100 years. I suppose that makes sense. Roughly three generational talents at the position per decade. Half of those QBs finished their careers before 1980. So over the last 45 years, 14 QBs have been enshrined. However, we have been in a lull of late.

Seriously. No kidding. An actually effective O-line. Trust me, 12s, I understand the hesitancy to believe there can be any good news about the Seahawks' offensive line. We've been conditioned for about a decade that it's all lip service. But there's finally a good reason to buy into the storyline. Three reasons, in fact. It's no secret that the Seahawks' offensive line has struggled ever since they made the ill-fated trade of Max Unger for Jimmy Graham.

Hey John, there are still quality guards availableThe Seattle Seahawks have addressed one spot on their offensive line by drafting Grey Zabel. Unfortunately, the right guard position is still up for grabs. Any of these three free agents could step in immediately. The Seahawks took a major step forward by drafting O-lineman Grey Zabel with their first pick.

Is he ready already? I’m going to step away from the glass-half-empty perspective I’ve had on Jalen Milroe.  At least for a little while. The fact is, we still don’t have all that much to go on regarding the Seattle Seahawks’ rookie. However, based on what he is showing thus far, there’s reason to be optimistic. Those watching Milroe throw over the last few days have been universal in their praise. Accuracy is one of the major concerns in the Alabama star’s game.

The best punter in the league? There is one punter in the NFL Hall of Fame. It is Ray Guy, who spent his entire career with the (then) Oakland Raiders from 1973-1986. He was First-Team All-Pro six of those seasons, and second team in two other years. Still, he didn’t enter Canton until 28 years after his retirement, via the Senior Committee. Does that give you a sense of how punters have been traditionally viewed in the NFL?
