DiscussionIn this retrospective study, we investigated the right-to-left shunt fraction (Qs/Qt) in patients with CTEPH whilst breathing pure oxygen (FiO2 1.0) during RHC at baseline and one year after PEA. Among all patients, the median shunt fraction was unchanged 1 year after PEA, but 7/16 (44%) patients improved their shunt fraction (>10% from baseline).
