Just over the threshold, a flowerbed. Which extends into the patio adjacent to the living room, marking its perimeter. It’s one of the surprises introduced by the architects of Spaceagency, an Australian practice that was commissioned to intervene in a factory built in the 1930s in North Fremantle. Disused for some time, the structure, originally devoted to the production of cereals, had already been subdivided into 13 flats in the early 1990s.

The Forskaren Innovation Hub, which brings together the co-working, service and office facilities of large international companies in northern Sweden, was indeed designed with the comfort of its users in mind.
