LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — UPDATE: Liberty County Sheriff William Bowman has confirmed on of the victims in Friday’s shooting on Paulaski Street has died. Liberty County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Major Bill Kirkendall tells News 3 Terrandall Williams Jr, who was transported to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, died from his injuries. The other person involved in the shooting was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center where he is currently being treated.

HINESVILLE, Ga. (WSAV) — A woman was wounded in a Monday night shooting in Hinesville. According to Lt. Norm Ewing the shooting took place at Harbor Rains Apartments on the 600 block of Saunders Ave shortly after 9:15 pm. LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — A routine traffic stop for speeding turned into a high-speed chase on I-95 Monday. A Liberty County deputy attempted to stop a silver Mazda with a Florida license plate for speeding on mile marker 68 northbound on I-95 shortly after 8 pm., Liberty County Deputy Lt. Brian Barnes said. The car was reportedly stolen in Florida. The reportedly driver continued to travel at a high rate of speed with the deputy in pursuit with flashing lights.

Several vehicles were damaged shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the entrance of the Eagle Apartments on Darsey Road, Hinesville Police Chief, Tracey Howard said.
