It’s funny to think there was once a point in my life when I hated the horror genre. I was a very easily scared little kid, and it wasn’t until my college years that a close friend finally convinced me to watch a horror movie with her, none other than Scream 4. While I had my doubts, I wound up enjoying that movie, and it opened the door to more compelling, spooky experiences. Though I generally avoid pure slashers, I somehow fell in love with the classic Evil Dead movies.

While I’ve never attended Anime Expo myself, I’ve heard a lot about the expo. Including how it’s usually packed with fans and features some great reveals.
