    A bacterial strain S8797 was isolated from frequent occurrence sites of tobacco bacterial wilt and black shank diseases in Zunyi. This strain exhibited significant disease control and growth-promoting capabilities. It effectively antagonized 12 plant pathogens including Ralstonia solanacearum and Phytophthora nicotianae. Moreover,it demonstrated abilities in dissolving inorganic phosphorus,potassium solubilization,cellulase enzyme production,and NH production.
