A bacterial strain S8797 was isolated from frequent occurrence sites of tobacco bacterial wilt and black shank diseases in Zunyi. This strain exhibited significant disease control and growth-promoting capabilities. It effectively antagonized 12 plant pathogens including Ralstonia solanacearum and Phytophthora nicotianae. Moreover，it demonstrated abilities in dissolving inorganic phosphorus，potassium solubilization，cellulase enzyme production，and NH production.
