IntroductionClick to copy section linkSection link copied!The phosphor-converted white-light-emitting diodes (pc-WLEDs) are attractive solid-state lighting sources due to their high luminous efficiency, low power consumption, and long life-span. (1,2) The most widely used commercial pc-WLEDs are made by combining an InGaN blue-light LED chip with yellow phosphor Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ (YAG:Ce3+). However, these pc-WLEDs have shortcomings such as thermal instability and efficiency drop.
