DALLAS — Another domino has fallen in the Dallas Stars’ offseason. The Stars announced they have traded forward Mason Marchment to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round pick and 2026 third-round pick. The move comes just hours after the Stars signed his linemate Matt Duchene to a four-year, $18 million extension, taking up most of the Stars’ available cap room. The Marchment trade clears up $4.5 million in cap space for the Stars to work with in free agency.
