    Cindy Bagwell Crum, Ed.D., M.Ed., MSN, R.N., was elected as the new Arkansas president of Colonel Dames 17th Century, according to a news release. Her background in nursing began right after graduation at St. Bernard's in Jonesboro, in the operating room, "where I assisted in opening the new open-heart surgical suite. I also served Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Tenn., in the operating room on the trauma team and ended my stent as the total joint specialist," Crum in the release.
