The following information comes from police reports and court records. Cruelty to Animals: On May 25 at about 1:30 p.m., state troopers responded to a report of a deceased dog in the area of a trail in a wooded area off Fountain Road in Frailey Township. The dog had been shot. Police are seeking the identity and any information regarding the dog’s death. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 570-754-4600.

The following information comes from police reports and court records. Theft by Deception: An Auburn man contacted police April 9 to report that his credit card was used for purchases of $13,985. Pedestrian Hit: On April 8 at about 6:30 p.m., state police responded to an accident at 70 Kings Village in Norwegian Township. The driver of a 2023 Mazda was attempting a left turn near BG’s Value Market when the vehicle struck a pedestrian.
