Three people are facing charges after London police executed a search warrant finding a number of shotguns and about $3,700 in illegal drugs. Members of the London police Guns and Gangs Section along with the Emergency Response Unit conducted a weapons investigation at two homes in the area of Commissioners Road West and Viscount Road.

Forecasters are calling for damp end to the week in Windsor-Essex with more cloudiness and possible rain Thursday. A commercial driver has been from London charged after a Good Samaritan reported a suspected impaired driver to police. The Ontario Provincial Police in Elgin County found and investigated the vehicle Thursday around 7:16 a.m. on Yarmouth Centre Road near Fruit Ridge Line after the citizen notified officers. Police say when an officer spoke to the driver, they observed signs of intoxication and administered a roadside approved screening device (ASD) test, registering a failure.
