The Broadway League says the 2024-25 musicals and plays brought in $1.89 billion dollars, which is a 23% increase over the previous season. Attendance came in at 14.6 million. The Tony Awards celebrates the excellence and achievement in theater and has since 1947. They’re named after Antoinette Perry, or Tony as she was known, who got her start here in Colorado.
