    CHICAGO (WLS) – A man died in Chicago after jumping into the cold waters of Lake Michigan. Chicago Fire Department fivers mounted a desperate search in the chilly waters off 31st Street Beach, where an afternoon on the lakefront turned deadly. Jose Vasquez runs a charter boat business near the beach. He said he was in the area when the apparent drowning happened. “It’s very sad. To go against that current, it takes a lot. Even the strongest swimmer will probably go down in that water,” he said.

    LAS VEGAS (KVVU/Gray News) - A homeowner said roughly 200 teenagers broke into her home and threw a party while she was out of town. On Saturday around 10:30 p.m., Jamie Lewis said she got a call from Las Vegas Metro Police asking if she was having a party. “Of course I said no, and to be fair, I really thought it was a fake call,” she said.     RYE, Colo. (KKTV) - A memorial fit for a king will be held at his castle this summer. Bishop’s Castle has announced an upcoming service for creator and namesake Jim Bishop on July 5. Bishop died late last year at the age 80, leaving behind one of the most iconic structures in Colorado. His castle started as a one-room stone cottage in 1969 and grew and grew over the next 55 years, with turrets, spirals and fire-breathing dragons taking form over multiple stories.
