IntroductionClick to copy section linkSection link copied!The rapid advancement of industrialization has led to extensive utilization of synthetic dyes across various sectors, including textiles, printing and dyeing, cosmetics, etc. This has led to a substantial increase in water consumption and wastewater generation. Globally, it is estimated that 1–20% of synthetic dyes are discharged into the environment through textile effluents.
