The group that represents used-car dealers in Jamaica has said that it has no evidence of members misusing demonstration licence plates and has challenged the Government to provide proof of abuse. Demonstration plates are issued to new and used-car dealers to facilitate the movement of vehicles from the wharf, showcase vehicles to customers, and for promotional purposes such as automobile shows.

Campbell, who is also a former senator, was sentenced yesterday to a fine of $400,000 or six months in prison if the fine was not paid.

NEWS: #LeslieCampbell, former Senator & junior foreign minister, was today sentenced to a fine of $400,000 OR 6 mths in prison following his conviction last year for breaches of the Integrity Commission Act.

UPDATE: #AnthonyWilliams, the attorney for Portmore Mayor #LeonThomas, along with PNP MP #FitzJackson arrives at the Municipal HQ where the Mayor will be interviewed by the police.

In the main, the female athletes do a better interview than their male counterparts at Boys & Girls #Champs, in my opinion.
