    Norfolk Southern Corporation’s Board of Directors announced it had appointed Richard Anderson to serve as the independent chair of the board effective immediately. Anderson, who was previously CEO and executive chairman of Delta Air Lines, has served on the Norfolk Southern board since May 2024. Wes Moore said his state is launching the Customer Relief Fund to help consumer with utility bills in the midst of nationwide energy cost increases.
