The new district was one of the most top-heavy in Region IV, with Columbia (7-5, 18-14-2) clinching the final playoff spot with three games remaining. Clute native Aaron Reutzel had a message for the fans at Port Royal Speedway seconds after securing the richest win of his career. “I can’t hear you, I’m making too much money!” yelled Reutzel from the top of the Ridge & Sons Racing No. 87 at the Pennsylvania track.
