SeaWorld San Diego, which has been home to emperor penguins for decades, will no longer house the large, cold-weather birds, which were recently moved to its sister park in Orlando. The penguins, native to Antarctica, went on view for the first time for the Florida park’s annual passholders on Thursday and Friday, and they will make their debut to the general public on Saturday.

So @JayPosnerSD have you ever seen an at bat like that with two dropped foul balls??? let alone a homer to follow.

That’s the kind of AB — not one but TWO dropped foul pops — that makes you think maybe this is one of those years for Padres. (Especially combined with some of other stuff we’ve seen already.) That said, it’s still really early.
