    The buds and blooms springing to life are a sign the Ramona Garden Club’s Plant and Craft Sale is just around the corner. The spring event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at Ramona Oaks Park, 25341 Pappas Road in San Diego Country Estates. The event is held twice each year, once in spring and again in the fall. Garden Club Co-President Jane Vidal said the Plant and Craft Sale is held in conjunction with a garden tour every other year.

The new Ramona Grange Growers Exchange at 215 Seventh St. attracted eight vendors who sold produce, sourdough bread, homemade jams, honey and other assorted items. Although the two events are separate, they offer different options for entertainment and shopping.
