Yesterday’s taste of summer was quite warm across the state! As expected, we got into the 80s for areas inland and cooler along the shoreline in the 70s with SE CT topping out in the 60s. After a front passed through last night, today is cooler but overall egg-cellent (!) weather conditions for Easter Sunday. Highs top out in the low to mid 60s and there will be plenty of sunshine, but it will also be breezy with gusts up to 30 MPH coming in from the northwest.

We’re officially into warmer than average temperatures for this time of the year! Highs today inland will be in the 80s (?!) and along the shoreline temps will vary with SE CT in the mid-60s and central/SW CT in the 70s. Anywhere you go – it’s tee shirt weather but also breezy at times with gusts up to 30 MPH coming in from the SW. Keep in mind – our normal high temperatures are 62 degrees in the Hartford area and 60 in the Bridgeport for April 19th.

It’s mild out there once again today! Temperatures are in the 50s & 60s. It’s a mix of sun & clouds for most of the day, but we could see a couple showers late afternoon into the evening. A couple isolated thunderstorms are also possible tonight ahead of a cold front pushing through. Tomorrow will be blustery and cool with highs in the low 50s but only FEELING like it’s in the 30s. Temperatures warm back up late week with a couple showers possible for Saturday. Still dry for Easter Sunday as of now.

It’s a picture perfect day! We have *WARMER* than average temperatures in the mid-60s and it’s possible in some inland spots to hit 70 this afternoon. Sunshine is abundant and overall it’s a perfect day for any outdoor activities. The quiet weather doesn’t last long with some showers and even an isolated thunderstorm possible tomorrow afternoon, primarily in the SW corner. Cooler temperatures come in behind a front for Wednesday. Thursday and Friday look nice, then tracking more rain for Saturday.

Though not perfect, today was a fairly significant improvement from yesterday. No snow, little if any rain, and 50s for highs!. If you’re longing for sunshine – tomorrow is your day! It’s going to be fantastic, sunny and in the 60s. Unfortunately, the dry conditions don’t last too long with more rain showers on the way for Tuesday. After a cold front passes through, cooler & quieter weather is in store for mid-week.
