The new menu at a popular Plymouth pub is getting rave reviews from happy diners. The Bank, tucked away behind the Theatre Royal off Royal Parade, promises "a feast for all occasions" including burgers, pizzas and small plates. A Plymouth man who "felt hopeless" after applying for more than 1,000 jobs without success has won a major award after a brilliant idea turned his life around. Brandon Hulcoop was inspired to create his own business because of the frustrations of being unable to read his birthday cards or menus. The 23-year-old was born with a visual impairment and says employers "couldn’t get past that" as he struggled to find work.
