    Former One Direction heart-throb Liam Payne helped people in Stoke-on-Trent during the coronavirus pandemic. The popstar donated 360,000 meals to food banks which had been struggling to get supplies during the health crisis. The donation saw food being given to 100 foodbanks in the Midlands - including Stoke-on-Trent. The incredible lockdown gesture has been remembered following the 31-year-old's death last night. Police say he had fallen from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires.

    If you are going to have a gender reveal party you may as well do it in front of thousands of people – and that’s exactly what happened during the Busted concert at Trentham Estate on Sunday evening. “It’s a boy!” shouts James Bourne after being asked by a fan to spread the good news. The reveal was met with huge cheers – as were Busted when they opened the last night of the four-day Trentham Live extravaganza with the brilliant Air Hostess.

In a first for the band, they opened a four-night music extravaganza at Trentham Gardens exploding onto the stage to perform their classics from the 80s and 90s as part of Trentham Live. And – despite the downpours - it was certainly a night to remember.

    Busted were considered the boyband of the early 2000s - unless of course, you were a McFly fan. With rip-roaring hits such as Year 3000 and What I Go to School For, the band’s popularity seems to be on the increase again if recent audiences are anything to go by. And the group will head to North Staffordshire next month when they appear at the ever-popular Trentham Live.

    If there’s one thing that can be guaranteed at an Olly Murs concert it’s a party atmosphere – and Cannock Chase on Saturday night (June 29) was no different. The cheeky chappy from Essex who shot to fame thanks to the X Factor was part of a series of gigs at forests across the UK featuring some incredible performers. Called Forest Live and thanks to Forestry England, the setting for this concert was magical.
