    2 1/1 The principal of a St Neots secondary school has announced to parents she has decided to step down from the role.   Catherine Cusick joined Longsands Academy in the spring term of 2023 and her position will be advertised in due course.   A statement from the Astrea Academy Trust celebrated the fact the school achieved a ‘good’ Ofsted rating in its most recent inspection.

    3 1/1 Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council will have to publish details of how many potholes they have filled or risk missing out on funding for road repairs.   The Government announced the new initiative yesterday (Monday) as part of a national £1.6bn package to address the state of the roads.   This includes an extra £65m for the East of England.

    The Government announced the new initiative yesterday (Monday) as part of a national £1.6bn package to address the state of the roads. This includes an extra £65m for the East of England. The share will be available from mid-April, but to get the full amount councils in England have to publish an annual public progress report to prove public confidence in their work.

12 years after her brutal murder, the family of Una Crown finally saw her killer convicted and handed a life sentence. I’ve been around long enough to remember when her body was found. So to write about the conclusion was important to me. @theolivermurphy was a huge support.
