As a former high school principal, I clearly see the necessity of more student space in Ridgefield schools. The problem is acute. Students see how we value their education by the facilities and teachers that we provide. Teacher salaries are not part of a bond issue. For superior schools we need to fund both good facilities and good teaching staff. Ridgefield is growing. Children need quiet, space, supplies and a strong supportive environment.
