The election rests on a small number of voters in a few states, and our best estimates reveal the 2024 election is a tossup, in which Kamala Harris is slightly favoured. The average of national polls reveals that Vice President Harris currently leads former President Trump by almost exactly three percentage points. This is very close to what she is likely to need to win, but well within the margin of error.
