    WVU Baseball topped the UCF Knights Saturday, clinching its fifth Big 12 series win. Sophomore pitcher Chase Meyer earned the win for WVU, pitching 1.1 innings with two hits and three runs. The Mountaineers started scoring as freshman catcher/outfielder Gavin Kelly singled to bring in senior infielder Kyle West and junior outfielder Skylar King, making the score 2-0. Senior first baseman Grant Hussey doubled right after to score Kelly.

    After being a cornerstone of the WVU Football offense at left tackle, senior Wyatt Milum is expected to be drafted into the NFL this week. Milum’s resume includes starting 43 of 47 games with the Mountaineers, with eight at right tackle and 35 at left. He became WVU’s 14th Consensus All-American by the NCAA and helped the WVU rushing attack finish in the top 10 for yards per game in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

    The WVU tennis team’s season ended Wednesday with a 4-3 loss to Kansas State University in the Big 12 Championships in Waco, Texas. Senior Mille Haagensen and graduate student Julie Bousseau fell 6-2 to Maralgoo Chomsonjav and Charlotte Keitel in the top-seed doubles match. Senior Michaela Kucharova and freshman Laura Villanueva Morillo took their match over Sana Garakani and Maria Santos 6-2 after winning in deuce.

    Five WVU Tennis seniors were honored during the team's Senior Day match against the University of Colorado Saturday. Head Coach Miha Lisac highlighted the players' contributions in a postgame interview Sunday, saying the group has earned many accomplishments during its time in Morgantown. “This is really the last of the group that has accomplished great things with our program,” Lisac said. “So it's a lot of good memories.

    The WVU tennis team fell 4-1 to the University of Colorado Buffaloes Sunday in the team’s Senior Day match, honoring seniors Mille Haagensen, Micaela Kucharova, Tatiana Lipatova, Catherina Wassick and redshirt junior Maja Dodik. Kucharova and freshman Laura Villanueva Morillo started doubles play with a 6-2 win over Colorado’s Mila Stanojevic and Lera Alexin. Lipatova and freshman Susannah Su took a 2-0 lead over Pia Rebc and Betina Tokac but lost 6-3.
